We take our Pinots very seriously and are fortunate to call the Santa Rita Hills - one of the most remarkable growing sites for Pinot Noir in the world - our backyard. Santa Rita Hills Pinot embodies a balance of elegance and complexity, while showcasing impressive structure and explosive flavors in a silky smooth package; a perfect expression of beauty and terroir.
There is no grape sexier, more elegant and effeminate all rolled into one epically complex manifestation of the word pretty. Imagine aromas of red and black cherry, all spice, lilac and cherry blossoms giving way to mouthwatering flavors of elegant red current, black cherry, eucalyptus, white pepper, crayola crayon and old Hollywood with velvety smooth, faintly spiced tannins that will continue to evolve over time. With an aging potential of up to 7 years, our favorite sexy-ass grape pairs well with cheese and charcuterie, chicken, salmon or carnitas (we prefer it with premium aged Gouda). We were always told not to pick a favorite, but this wine and vineyard is one of our absolute favorite expressions of our favorite grape.
